Goodbye Middlegate Station - 34.80 miles today!
I left Middlegate Station behind and the next stop ahead is Austin.
I'm happy to say that the wind was at my back most of the day. In fact, it helped to push me along. And all of your comments and good wishes help to push me along as well. I want to say thanks to the people who stopped to check on me today along the road. And, I especially want to thank those of you who are following along on this journey on the web. I really do appreciate your comments. They are read to me each day and I share my comments and news with my "ghostwriter". The strangest occurrence of the day involved a helicopter. It came out of nowhere and over the middle of a tumbleweed field. The red and blue helicopter hovered over the field and then came down. Two guys got out, walked around, jumped back in and away they went. Very odd in the middle of nowhere! Oh well. Today the highest temperature seemed to be around 45 degrees. Should be a cold night. I'm probably around 5,500 feet elevation right now. Say a few prayers for me please tonight and don't forget those who are wrongfully imprisoned behind bars and the ones who have been freed as well. They need our support and help. As always, your donations are appreciated and welcomed.
