March 16 - 35.9 miles!

This was a long day! I left Carson City at about 12:30 pm from the State Capital building.  A late start.  Then, as I traveled east on the "Loneliest Highway in America", the snow began.  With the snow came a constant freezing wind.  It lasted all day long.  During the last hour, I could barely put one foot in front of the other.  I didn't get into the motel until 9:00 at night.  It took the whole night to thaw out.  I am still looking for volunteers to pick me up at the end of the day and bring me back in the morning to my stopping point from the day before.  This lonely highway is going to be a long one!

I just wanted to let you know we are still with you….those of us who saw you in California…

I check each day to make sure you are safe… Please remember…you are not alone in venture.

Be safe out there…and stay warm!

I sent you a 20. It’s a good positive cause towards peace in a dishonest society, I often send a small support donation (maybe once a year) to Fortune Society in NYC for the same general reason.
